 2. The construction of 680 hectares of land has been brought under irrigation with the help of construction / increase of 55 f-Mf.
3. Punched; 31.84 km; Supplementary irrigation has been provided to 260 hectares of land through rainwater / gutter water conservation.
4. Advanced varieties produced by BMDA 3.50 mt; ton; Rice seeds have been distributed among the farmers at shorter price.

6. 1.5 lakhs of fruits, forests and medicines and 1.20 lakh talisms have been planted in Pabartipur upazila.

• Problems and Challenges
1. Reducing the pressure of use of underground water in Pabarattipur Upazila.
2. Bring irrigated area under irrigation to make one-crop land as a three-cropped land.
3. To take advantage of the increase in surface water resources and use it for irrigation purposes.
4. Due to the installation of irrigation (deep / shallow tube-well) unplanned by individual initiative, pressurize the underground water.
5. Also significant problems include the lack of agricultural labor for crop cutting and processing, poor quality seeds and the lack of storage of agricultural products, the shortage of pure drinking water, low tree, etc.

• Future plans
1. All the canals, ponds, dighi, and recycling of bills are possible to increase the ground water resources.
2. Dugwell excavation in the production of hard barid zone / low water harvesting crops in the upazila.
3. Reconstruction of small rivers and construction of necessary infrastructure including rubber dams.
4. Irrigation Expansion in Hard Berind area, water supply from Atrai River.
5. Expansion of irrigation area by using solar pump.
6. To increase irrigation efficiency, increase the use of underground seepage (barid pipe) and ribbon pipe.
7. Instead of rice, production of low water yields and encouragement of farmers in Aus paddy cultivation instead of Boro paddy.
8. Extensive forestry for the balance of the environment, Talbija sowing as a hindrance crop.
9. Use of water saving modern irrigation technology. To provide drinking water to deep tube wells and patches in the solution of drinking water crisis and to set up recharge well for rehabilitation of ground water.

• Irrigation in 3050 hectares of land by maintaining and utilizing 156 irrigation facilities.
• To set up 3 LLPs to increase the flow of ground water in irrigation.
• Providing surplus irrigation to 225 hectares of land in the reclamation of the rain / flood water.
• 10.00 MT: Supply of improved varieties of seeds to the Speaker at low price.
